Led by Stephen Burwood, the PTS team keep abreast of the many and regular changes to tax legislation, case law decisions and valuation standards in order to understand the latest strategies to maximise value for our clients.
Stephen is recognised in the tax world as an expert in the area of transactional tax, he is the author of a number of tax reference publications and was the editor and then consultant editor of Tax Advisor, the journal of the Chartered Institute of Taxation for a number of years.
As well as heading up our transactional tax service line Stephen is on the expert panel of a number of tax forums and is a regular speaker at industry events.
Stephen has specialised in direct taxation for over 30 years, prior to PTS he has held senior positions with some of the profession’s largest firms.
As well as his specialist area of transactional tax, Stephen can also demonstrate genuine all-round knowledge of corporate, personal, capital and inheritance taxes.
